Books and Movies about Egypt

Hello Travelers!

A big part of the service that Near & Far Journeys provides is the pre-tour educational information, meetings and lectures.

During the next six months several postings will appear on this website with suggested books, online historical and cultural links, and more in-depth site specific information.

As I am sure that you are getting excited and are eager to learn, let's start with a listing of recommended books.  Many of these books are recommended by Smithsonian Journeys. Please feel free to share your reading and viewing ideas with our group by posting a comment!
